About Big League Chew
Big League Chew officially launched in 1980 and was founded by former minor league pitcher Rob Nelson, who developed the original shredded bubble gum concept. The brand built its identity around baseball, packaging its gum in the now-famous foil pouch with colorful ballplayer artwork. More than one billion pouches have been sold worldwide, and Big League Chew is recognized as the Hall of Fame Bubble Gum by the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Ford Gum manufactures Big League Chew in Akron, New York, including its growing selection of gumballs.
